Who sells the best battery for this transmitter?
This one is getting old and might need replacing soon.

Do yourself and your radio a favour and buy a 3S 2600 mA Lipo Tramsmitter battery pack as a replacement.

That's the type I was referring to and which will be quite compatable with your Futaba Tx even at that higher voltage.

Won't hurt anythng. I've been using 3 cell lipo in my 10c for 2 years now. Tx display shows 12.4V when fully charged and I remove/recharge when it gets down to 11.4 or 11.5v. This gives at least 6-8hrs of Tx ON time. Works great for me. The factory supplied Sanyo NiCad wouldn't even get thru one day of flying (1.5-2 hr on time) for me when new.

You can get 3cell LiPos in many different Capacities (mah). Many Tx LiPo packs are 2500mah with a Low C rating (below 5C).

I bought not the same battery you have in the picture and mine has three wires. Black flat one and white small one like in the picture and a larger white
ballance connector.
I use a Triton EG charger which I go from banana plugs to dean and then to diffrent adapter cables.
Looks like I need to make another cable to connect to the small white connector with the black and red wires.
Not sure what the name of that type of connector is called.
The battery is the Lectron Pro 11.1v 2600mah #352600-5-LTX transmitter Lipo 5C

Anyone know where I can get a adapter so I can charge this battery. I have Dean plugs and adapters to go down to a flat connector
but not this small white one that is on this battery.

Well it looks like one of the charging connectors is a Futaba J servo type and I have ordered a 1 x "Tarantula" Eight-in-One Charging Adapter
that has one on it. Looks like I will be able to charge it now and also hook up the ballance charger connector to my Triton EG charger.

A pack made from Sanyo Enloops. You can charge with a regular charger.

I put a 'Sanyo Enloop II 2000 MaH TX' pack from 'Hangtimes Hobbies' http://www.hangtimes.com/txpacks.html in my 10C, no problems, extremely long run time, use a regular charger, no balancing wires to bother with, charge through the factory charge port, same voltage as what came with your Radio 9.6; I considered Lithium packs like the ones mentioned, but Enloops are the way to go.
