I currently have a TMaxx 3.3 and LOVE nitro. I love everything about it but I'm sure my neighbors don't so I am thinking about getting a HPI Bullet ST Flux for using when I cant get away to a park or something. Also, I will be getting my 5 yo son a 1/10 Grave Digger for Christmas and he will want me to use my truck with him in our yard. So the main reason I want an electric rc is basically for the noise level and ease of use when my son and I are running together. Does anyone have any experience with the Bullet ST Flux or have advice on it. I have read mixed reviews about it. I have a good feeling about it but still hesitant because some say it breaks easy and some say it is great. I will be running 2S LiPos to avoid any overheating of the motor. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks!!

when they came out i researched them quite a bit as i was real interested in them as well (i really like those old school flat chassis MT style trucks).  i herd to many horror stories about broken driveline parts and jacked up diff's.
i was told one to many times by actual owners don't bother they aren't worth it.  talking with owners gave me the impression that the trucks suffer from parts quality issues more than actual durability issues.

sounds like so many HPI's recently its not funny
I've heard similar claims too. The issues not apparently noticeable in the nitro versions as the .18 engine doesn't put no where near the stress on the parts.

Side note you can get an ofna LX2e for almost the same cost. Might be a 1/8th scale buggy, but compared to a 1/10th scale ST 1/8th scale buggies are about the same size.
