Status: offline 		I just picked up a THP-425 charger to charge my lithium-ion 5600ma battery. The manual with the charger states that it is only to be used with lithium-polymer batteries. I'm no expert on batteries,but I thought you could charge li-ion batteries exactly the same way as li-poly batteries. If I'm right, it should work with my li-ion shouldn't it?

Status: offline 		You must go by the termination voltage. They are either 4.2 , 4.1 , or 3.6

Many li-ions have a termination of 4.1 per cell.

Status: offline 		Yup, charging terminates at:

4.1 V. / cell for Li-ion cells
4.2 V. / cell for LiPo cells
3.6 V. / cell for LiFe cells

Most good chargers that I see these days do these battery chemistries along with Ni and Pb.
