Ok, so I've been looking at the cover of model Aviation since receiving it. I've always had a soft spot for the Chipmunk. To date I have always flown glow. I'm am seriously considering this lil park flier.
In the write up it tells me the Motor used was a Rimfire 400, a 3S 1200 mAh 30C Lipo (no voltage indicated,I'm thinking 11.1v),an 8x6 slow flyer prop. What ESC do I need?
Thanks:
Tom

It is a 3s pack and the combo will pull about 13-16 amps even with a 9x6 prop according to my calculations. I think they are specc'ing a 25 amp esc because GP doesn't make a 20. The Supertigre 20 amp will work fine too. I'm going to use the very cheap $6 HK 25 amp in mine with perhaps a 9x7.5 or 9x6 SF prop.
