 I am looking at the BLS 175HV for a 30% Edge 540.
The specs given are for 7.4V (2 cell Lipo only).
what are the specs for a 6.6V A123 battery pack?

Can this servo run on a ower voltage battery pack or does it have a high minimum input voltage?

There are no specs for specific battery packs. Only specs for the voltage allowed. They will work well with a 2-cell Lithium battery pack. Any of the Lithium chemistries will be OK.

Thanks Bax, but  the answer is still unclear. The servo is rated at 7.4V but there's no indication of what the performance drop would be at 6.6V or 6V.
I am trying to do a price performance comparison

OK. I understand. However, there are NO specs on how the performance changes when the voltage drops on any servos. Yes, on older ones, they had the 4-cell and 5-cell power and speeds, but the HV servos are intended for the voltages of 2-cell LiPo, Li-Ion packs. A123 are Lithium-Iron types, and will operate the servos very well, but there are no specs for those specific voltages. If they are critical to your use, you'll have to do your own measurements.
