I recently acquired a Futaba 12Z transmitter from the estate of a deceased club member. The transmitter is 5 years old, and Radio South updated the unit I purchased the 2.4 module. I fly mostly electrics. I also have a 10C and have a minimum knowledge on the subject of programming. I have the manual for the 12Z but it is of little help in programming. I am trying to have a switch which will disable the throttle. I was able to do this with my 10C by actrivating two mixes, throttle to throttle. It works great on the 10C. I am having a problem as to how this is done with the 12Z. I know (?) I need to create a condition, and I have created Condition 2 which is turned on and off by a separate switch. This is as far as I got as I don't know what to do next. I think there is probably information as to how to program the 12Z, but I have yet to find it. I really need HELP!

Thanks,

Cajuncharley

To have a condition that deactivates the throttle setting, you do need a condition. Then, turn on that condition and go into the Throttle AFR. On the second page of the AFR section, set it to SINGLE. In the first page, you then set RATE A and RATE B to 0. Finally, set the offset to the value that moves the throttle to the desired position.

Now, when you activate the condition, the throttle channel will move to the desired position, and will stay there regardless of stick position.
