I just got a new sc10 rs and so far I really like it but it has ALOT of slop in the steering especially when turned fully left or right, How do you fix this?

It's sort of an Associated thing.  You can't elimiate it, necessarilly, but you can significantly reduce it.

Replace the stock ball cups with RPM ones.
Replace the stock bell-crank bushings with ball bearings.
You can also try replacing the bell-cranks themselves wtih the new JConcepts aluminum units.

What you are noticing when the wheels are cranked all the way to one extreme is that the tie rod has less pulling leverage against the hub which allows it to flop a little bit.  The arm of the hub and the tie rod are almost in-line with eachother.  The key is in the bell-crank area, that's where most of the play occurs.

Ok that sucks but ill do what you said.....I guess its not that big of a deal seeing how many races ae cars win but i still would like to at least reduce it.

Yeah, I hear ya.  They're system works but it just seems that for the level of quality the truck is supposed to be something like this shouldn't be an issue.  My RS is still all stock except for tires.  I did those mods I mentioned to my B4 and it made a noticeable difference.  The cranks still wiggle but it's better than it was.

Exactly what my 1 impression was w/ my new Losi 10 SCTE, at the front tire at least 3/8" of play. I'm wondering if is a way of saving the steering servo. So if I tighten up the steering linkage, I may as well expect steering servo issues then!

Sort of.  It's practically impossible to eliminate 100% of the play in the steering linkage; otherwise the balljoints will bind up.  Like I suggested earlier, using different ball joints like those from RPM or JConcepts may help.  Swapping out the front hubs/steering blocks to aluminum and swapping the stock plastic bell-cranks to aluminum and installing steering bearings will help some too.  All of these little steps combined will add up and make a difference, but it will never go away entirely.  You're simply looking for tigher tolerances within the parts, but not too tight; or as I said the steering will start to bind.  Metal gear servos help too but, over time the gears wear and the servo will develop it's own slop too.
