Pitty it is not available without the massive case as this will take up as much room as the plane when the plane is out of it

The airframe will fit inside the case once completed therefore you can use the case to transport the Aurora to your flying site without the fear of hanger rash, to me it looks a big improvement on loading into the car unprotected.

Took a trip down to ModellbauUK's premiss yesterday for a look around, was made very welcome and given a cup of tea to boot by one of Ian's fair maidens, what a nice man, had a good look around and was very impressed with the Aurora, for those who think the price is too much, I paid nearly the same for a telescope case, just the case without the contents.

Difficult to see under fluorescent lighting, but the waves you can normally see in composite's flat surfaces seem to be missing, I would go as far to say the moulding seems to be every bit as good as any of my CARF's.

Mike

was really great to finally meet you Mike. I'm sure Lauren will chuckle when she hears she was described as a fair maiden.

Ian

Ian when you get to my age any female under 50 is a fair maiden, and before anyone ask's how old that is, its old enough that I don't bother to breath in no matter how pretty the girl is that has just walked into the room.

Clear canopy option for the Aurora jet is in development. Planning on having a flat tun so own cockpit detail can be added

How about sticking some wings on it and then a fin, why not a tailplane, what size turbine would fit I wonder?

Could make a mean skeleton bob.

Thinking about using the case as a coffin when I go to the big hangar in the sky.

Sharp looking. It will look much better with a clear canopy and complete cockpit and pilot.
