It is really next to impossible to get parts for my Harbor Freight Milling Machine... I have been waiting 3 months now... 6-9 weeks to get from China, and a huge problem getting them to ship once they were here in the states.

Calls, e-mails... it is really impossible to deal with these folks to get parts.

I will not be buying anymore expensive tools there. I like the mill, but when you need parts you need parts.

You cant go wrong with Sears Craftsman, yeah, their alittle more expensive, but the equipment lasts and parts are always available.

They say not to buy parachutes, pacemakers or condoms from Harbor Freight. I guess we should add milling machines to the list.

Depending on the mill that you have you might be able to get parts for it at www.littlemachineshop.com I have bought a number of items from them and the service has always been first rate.

I got parts for their P51 in a few days after ordering however they probably won't do you much good on the milling machine!
Do they show parts for it as being available and they are just out of stock ?

I had ordered parts for a soldering station. I got busy and actually forgot about it. It was 4 or 5 months later I had a package at the door. It was the parts I ordered. When the wait is so long you forget you even ordered them, that is bad service. If you do get them, at least you got them.

on your six:

If it is the "mini-mill, it is made by Sieg and sold under various brand names but they are all the same mill.

I get my parts from Grizzly for my Harbor Freight lathe and mill. Grizzly usually has parts in stock ready to ship.

Little machine shop and Grizzly are now known entities to me... at the time, I thought I would give the HF mill a try after hoss was doing well with a CNC upgrade. Alas... if you ever think you might need a part, Harbor Freight is the last place that I would go to buy a machine tool.

My lathe is coming from Grizzly, in Pennsylvania.

Thank you FoodStick.... I needed that.
