This is a good one. Put one together last week and have the first 4 flights. It is smooth, stable and high quality. More to come.

After installing the fuse/wing fairings on my Proud Bird, the wing no longer "bottoms out"
at the trailing edge. The very T.E. now makes contact with the plastic fairing
and is about 3/32" away from seating to the wing saddle.
Anyone have any thoughts on how to correct?
Trim wood from T.E. of the wing?
Cut away plastic on the fairing?
Just tighten the wing bolts until it bottoms out or something breaks?

Hmm,  Brad did you get resolution on the wing saddle problem.  I see you got a lot of help here.

The process of installing and removing the wing several times
has resolved the problem. It just squished the wood at the
T.E. of the wing and it bottoms out just fine now.
Waiting for good weather to test fly the plane.
