Hurricane,
Work keeps getting in the way of my fun. One is close to being done. Second one I should be able to do in my sleep.

Well almost done with the next set of 10 kits
Got bearings in today now just need gears an a few more sets of rod-ends.
When i get them i'm going to post better pics of the complete kit.
Most of these are sold i only have a few left.
Boy this has turned into a full time job making them lol
Glad so many people like them.
The last time I checked I built 39 kits and 3 complete sleds just have
1 more complete sled to build.
Then maybe i can finaly start on my new project.
It will be a 3 wheel like the bike called tri-rod but its going to look
Like my outrigger boat I want to brake into the 100 MPH club.

So any ways anyone got there sled out and running yet ??
How fast ??
Does it wheelie ??
Lets hear about them.

Thanks Hurricane

Have you tried to modify the track? The video's show allot of spinning. If that track hooked up, it would fly..

Yeah don't get me wrong..Your hardware and mods are nice. But I think the track is limiting the potential of the sled after you added all that power. Wonder if you could mod, or barrow a extended track. Maybe larger paddles/studs. Something which would allow full throttle action in some powder.

Mine do handle full power.
I have studed the track and have reached over 50 MPH
My track has been as high as 9723 rpm's and still going
I have used as much as 1/4 studs sticking out of the track
When i hit pavment sparks everywhere lol

Krawlin the best i have found is to remove the grey covers from the bottom of the ski's
And it will track much better and stright also give the ski's a 1/8 toe in helps alot.

Well, the sled is very close now. I still need to wire the lights,  hook up the battery, bind the receiver /  transmitter & go play.  I'm sure that I'll have shock tuning to do. Who else out there is close or done. There were 22 of these kits in this run. How did it go for other people?

Hurricane

Are the 6 mm cap screws the black ones? Where do they go? I have found a place for it yet.

It is very obvious that there is a bunch of parts, engineering & machining in these kits.

Thank you for making these very cool kits.

Nathan

Oh duh. 6mm is a lot bigger than the ones that I've got. I think that there are 2 but I had 2 kits. These are very skinny black ones. I'll dig them out.

Hi Hurricane!
New to the site, big thank-you for the ideas here, looking forward to what you will mod next!
Is there a thread with regards to the smaller interactive toy BRZ 800XP you once modded fro someone? I've got a couple I'd like to race my 8-year old son with!

Thanks!

Hi ScoobySting

My blog and build out video should give you some ideas to get you going.

Note: My modifications are mostly prototypes to see what works for the XP and not as precise as Hurricane's builds.

Rev XP Hop Up

These Rev XP Skidoos do not perform as well as the MXZ but they are readily available and affordable.

Hello scooby

I have one of the smaller sleds and was working on mods for it.
but been so busy with the MXZ and work and other side work LOL.
techyjoe does a good mod.
If there is anything you need help with I'm sure I could help out.

TechyJoe

Thanks for praise how have you been ?
I was thinking the first thing I want to do for the smaller sleds is
the track drive wheels and a gear box all out of aluminum.
I really like a good challenge.

Hi Hurricane

Doing good. Not too much snow though in my neck of the woods so sledding has been limited.

Yeah, an all aluminum drive wheel would be awesome to get more traction to the track. It would be nice if the Rev could fit a wider track as well.
