Yes, most likely it's a Chinese-made boat. Probably a cloned Zenoah so the quality is iffy, it might last a while and run well or it could last only a few runs. These boats are hyped in eBay ads as being faster than they really are. The warranties are a joke as you really have to read the fine print as basically, once you got it forget about trying to return it.

As far as the deal gone bad, hopefully you used PayPal but still they can screw you over as badly as the seller.

Hi, not bothered about the motor (I run moded K30s's Multi and Offshore) I would like to try the hull for Offshore races in UK next year.

So if anybody knows anything it would be appreciated, especially our Chinese viewers, FSR is big over there so some one must be running one or knows the supplier.

I don't get your first post, you said

"i tried to buy one on eBay, But that the blokes gone missing with the money"

Yet you just seem interested in finding out about how the hull performs,

I've just recently bought a speedboat from a Chinese supplier, should have it soon,

It's 54 inches long with a 23cc engine.

I Don’t think I said I was interested in how the boat performs..I said did anybody know anything about it, as to its whereabouts ie RTR or bare hull.
I don’t think the one on eBay will turn up as it was very cheap and I’ve just seen some iffy feedback, but would still like to buy one elsewhere, as would a couple of my club mates.
So if your boat looks like the picture above (green boat) perhaps you could let me know where you purchased it

Regards Mick

Right, you were looking to know about the seller/ manufacturer not the hull,

The pics of my boat on eBay were very small, so I'm not sure exactly the shape of the hull,

But at $178 AUD I thought it was a cheap deal rtr with free shipping,

The tracking number shows it left Singapore for the uk yesterday so I should have it early next week,

Il post pics once it arrives

Thats because customs or the courriers may have held it untill you pay your customs charges OUCH.If its DHL they may deliver it and then a cpl of weeks later you will get a bill asking for customs VAT.That said shouldnt be much on something costing £122,probs about £25 ish.

Further to the story.... Green boat (above) never turned up, nor did any of his sales to other people. PAYPAL repayed me £122... a result.!!!
Emails sent to China came up with same boat different colour (red see pics) fitted with RCMK 30 rear exhaust or bare hull.
Went for complete boat (awaiting customs clearence at moment) with option of 4 bare hulls in new year.
All In all a Happy New Year.

nice looking boat, nice engine, pity they trashed it by useing such a poor carb inkage, a 2 year old could have come up with a better arrangement than that
piece of bent wire.
tipical chinese rubbish !

Its a deltaforce ,lynx hybrid must be a hundred and one versions of these boats coming out of China ive been offered several versions from my suppliers theyre all pretty much similar to look at,same bottom diff tops etc.Its not worth importing any unless you fill a container but then theres the question of quallity which isnt usually that good with mass produced boats from China as we all know.

I'm trying to figure out what's in the box between the engine and radio box!
There are easier ways to hook up a throttle linkage. This was the way I did it, simple and cheap. Sullivan throttle cable greased, fit inside of an antenna tube.
