My Sukhoi (54" wingspan) likes the 14x6 APC on the .91 FX.

I tried the suggested 13X8, and found the plane to be quite fast. The 14X6 gives me some braking when trying to slow down. There was no braking effect with the 13X8.

Also tried an APC 15X6, and the braking was a bit more than I liked. All these props gave me adequate power for the sport type flying I do.

Of course, you'll need to try & decide for yourself.

    Best wishes,
    Dave Olson

APC was (!) te best propeller for quite many years but it is far not anymore.
Check and see what you will get by using the Graupner Laser series, and
especially from Europe you have very good deals on:
    www.lindinger.at
    www.der-schweighhofer.at
My complains about APC is that it has pretty thick profile and loads the
engine more than those tinner profile Groupner Laser propellers; with them
you just get at least 15% more energy used in the thurst then in turbulency.
And also they are at least 30% cheaper than APC ... check and see...nothing
is best for ever, APC also has to implement some advanced aerodynamics to
stay among the best, sorry, but that is the life...

    Cheers,
    Nick

    Hi!
Check out the new Graupner "Sonic" series. or the British "RAM" props. In Q-500 pylon here in Sweden when using 10x6 props and 80/20 fuel those are by far the best props available.
But for a slow flying plane like the You-Can-Do .60 ,powered by a MVVS 15cc engine running 5% nitro, a 16x4W APC has been my choice soo far.
