anyone mixing their own fuel with ester synthetic oil, I would like to know what viscosity you have used. And would a synthetic polyolester lube be what I would want to use? Thanks.

I quit doing that when it became virtually impossible/impractical to get nitro. California, you know:-))))))))))))))

Ahhh The Peoples Republik of Kalifornia.....In that case...I believe ester based is what Skydrol is made from if that is the case you don't want that...can you get Klotz oil? I was going to mix klotz with methol alcohol....then add Nitro form a speed shop in Daytona.....that's when It became impractable for me not to mention storing the stuff

I have always used klotz super-techniplate oil.

Unless you are mixing up allot of fuel (20+ gallons), its cheaper to buy the ready mix. I figured out that 60 gallons of 10% nitro would cost around $800 to mix up in our location. Thats $13.xx per gallon,

Last time I bought the Klotz I got it at Tower. There were different blends back then and I got it with the 20% Castor. I think they still sell it.
