Which of the number of quadricopters are most hacker friendly?  Specifically for DIY addons, arduino, raspberry pi, etc ?  I have read up on several models, and price range pre-modifications is about $300.  First timer.  Done a quick search, but maybe I'm not using the right keywords, the answers I'm getting are not quite what I was expecting.

Status: offline 		If you are looking for a diy drone, or to hack a factory made drone, you might be looking at the wrong forum. We do not fly drones here, we fly model aircraft (which includes milti-rotors) using line of sight.

diy drones is another forum completely.

Status: offline 		Rafael - thank you for the response.  I was originally considering the Parrot Drone thingy, having seen a few modifications such as adding longer range, etc.  I searched a bit on other drones as the price point seemed a bit high, and found other quadricopters but not much in way of tinkering them.

Firehopper's aeroquad is very interesting.. I think I like that,nearly perfect, except price point is too high for a full kit.

Well, anyway, I'm headed in a good direction with this info.  Thank you again, I will continue searching.
