Hello,

I'd like to know if anyone here knows the best way to extend the rear axle to push the wheels out approx 6mm?

I'm thinking about trying the HPI WR8 axles which are 38mm versus the HPI Sprint axles which are 32mm long.

Why do you want to extend them?

Because the width on the front fenders in relation to the rear fenders on the 68 Camaro body is not proportional like my 67 Camaro.

Use the 31mm wide, 6mm offset rim on the rear w/the stock 4mm hex nut.
If you need to kick out more Hobbyking has aluminum hex nuts 4mm,5mm,6mm & 7mm thick.
A 6mm hex nut is about as thick as you want to get - otherwise the axle nut may not hold tightly.

I run my 69 Camaro body w/RPM 6mm hex nuts + 26mm x 0/offset rims on the front & 4mm OEM hex nut + 31mm x 6mm/offset rims on the rear.

Car handles good with this setup.
