Status: offline 		 im new here so id first like to say thanks for your help in advance. i grew up with hornets,grasshoppers ,frogs and the like.a few years ago i bought two losi nxt's for me and my son, but they were'to fast for him at the time so i sold em.the other day i picked up a 3.3 tmaxx and it came with a whole second truck as parts.it only needed rear bulkheads a shock tower and a spur gear,ohh and a set of wheels.so i pulled the parts and while examining the spur i realized the input shaft on the tranny is only tûrning about halfway either way.the output shaft spins freely both ways,the forward and reverse shifter has been both in and out while tring to turn the input shaft i can force the shaft to make a full turn then it kinda frees up till it catchs again.im guessing this is the reason the spur was ground all the way down to begin with. i pulled everything off the shaft to insure it wasnt the pads holding itand everything from the output shaft works perfect.ive also already pulled the motor.thanks for the help

Status: offline 		If a diff. exploded it could cause binding but I doubt it here and I bet it's something inside the trans. Stripped trans. gear? That's my guess.

Status: offline 		 well i guess ill try to pull the tans apart. was sceptic about that cause its foriegn to me, but, here goes nothin.

Status: offline 		 oki pulled the trans.the gear thats on the input shaft, its a stacked gear.the small gear is missing 4 teeth. i dug them all out but i need the name of the gear.
