I want to use the two trim levers located on each side of the case (called right trim and left trim - the ones with the short levers that rotate about 60 degrees) to control precise functions.  The pot for these levers is 5K, with about 120 deg rotation.  But the mechanical stops on the pot mounting limit rotation to only 60deg.
I want to sub the levers with knobs that will rotate nearly a full turn (about 330deg).  What R range is the Tx seeing (or needs to see) from the pots?  I measure less than 500ohm change in R over the 60 deg limited rotation.
I have 5K, one-full-turn miniature pots to replace the stock ones.  But seems that won't work.  Any help here please????  Much appreciated.
