$96 shipping to Canada as a super saver member.  $0 to my receiver in Washington State.  Obviously Tower using worldwide UPS for Canada will be lacking orders.

You guys are really good with peer pressure so I was forced to order mine today. Now when the wife starts in with me I'm telling her it's all your fault, you kept twisting my arm and I just couldn't take it anymore...

It's not just the TF Corsair ARF that is seemingly priced rediculously low: the FlyZone F-86 is down to just under $60 (USUALLY well over a hundred).
Maybe Tower wants some cash by Dec 21, to have one last party with before the world ends?
OR, maybe it's just the end for Tower?

Its possible some things do not sell as well as planned so the inventory numbers have to come down.

End of Tower? Nah, me thinks it is surplus inventory.

Anyone tried a YS 120 on this plane? Mine is ordered along with about 5 others at my local field. We are thinking that we can fly 'em together. I'm excited. Should be here in a few days. Now I'll have to break out my box set of Ba Ba Black Sheep DVD's to get in the right frame of mind for the build (Assembly).

I used a Saito 150 on my P-40 arf. It has adequate power...

Did you do much to "beef" it up, or was it pretty straight forward? Thanks, Jimmy Skids

No beefing up. I figured it's better to have useful weight up front vs. hanging 20+ oz of lead up front for balance. The engine fit inside the cowl with nothing sticking out. Using the 150 enabled me to run a 3 blade 16x8 prop, looks a bit more scale.

On the Corsair, I am going to use the YS 120, same as you.

My replacement Corsair arrived yesterday. No dings but the covering job is a blue prune!

I planned on a recover anyway as I want to do the Budweiser Light Corsair anyway.

Thanks for the update. Two of the three ordered have come in. I haven't had a chance to pull it out of the box yet, but will hopefully get a moment to look one over tonight. I just might have to put a couple projects on the back burner for this bird.

Mine just came in, and finally I recieved something that wasn't damaged in shipping. I gotta say, this is one nice arf. Even more so then the mustang. The covering job is one of the nicest I've seen(just a couple minor wrinkles) looking forward to customizing the scheme a bit, maybe just spray some lighter blue so it's a tri color.

the big brown truck just delivered mine. No damage wonderfully packed. Put it up in the attic for safe keeping will likely start it in the spring.

Mine both came today. Best ARF covering job I have EVER seen, not ONE wrinkle anywhere in either plane! Damn UPS did their usual "let's see how far we can puncture the box" trick, but no damage done. Bastages...

I want to respray mine too. What kind of paint are you gents using to spray on Monokote? Obviously I can't use latex here. One of the many reasons why I love Solartex.

Roughen the Monokote with some fine steel wool, and use Rustoleum spray enamel. Clear coat it with flat polyurethane.
