Hi Guy's

I've got this Zenoah 26 that wont prime up with fuel.
It is a new motor and originally had a 644 with primer bulb.

With this Carbie it will start as the bulb has primed with fuel
but once the carbie has run out it will stop. The iso block had a nipple for
a water pume but was blocked off so thinking that that was the problem I changed it for a new one,
but the problem still persisted so I swaped out the carbie for a new one (no bulb) and still no fuel.
I then replaced the gaskets with new teflon ones and still no difference.

I put this carbie on another motor and all works fine.

I'm stumped what could be the problem as it seem to be just with this motor.

I'm thinking that the isolator block is on upside-down. Been there.

I think plugged vent or fuel filter / tank  issues - cut in fuel line - pinched or pluged - change the hose out and check the vent

Id take the carb block off and check you have have the pulse hole in the corect position and none of the gaskets are covering the pulse holes.
Does the motor have Compression? If the piston had a hole in it you wouldnt have fuel or compresstion and will never run in a million years!

I'd guess a warped iso block to the carb.

Hi Guy's

Thanks for getting back to me, I will take these suggestions onboard and check the motor and get back to you when I find out more.

I found it

I think someone got over excited with the drill and tap,
a small bolt should fix it.

Yeah, that'll really lower your compression!
Somebody got a tad overzealous also thinking that longer bolts are better than short ones, i.e., the ones going through the isolator block.

That sucks. Some one used it for a pump port (water/fuel)

Cheers
