HI Guys

I am considering a rear exit twin exhaust for my Savage XL

What are the Pro's and Con's?

My main reason for wanting one is looks and keeping the oily exhaust away from the truck

Who makes the best one?

Cheers

Ben

Pros: looks killer.

Cons: reduced engine power, extremely loud, easily damaged. (compared to a traditional system)

I agree with everyone commenting here, except one thing? Loud? Really? How about EXTREMELY EAR PIERCINGLY LOUD LOL. That would have described it much better, i tuned a few trucks with this type of pipe and it was NUTS how loud they could be even at idle, HORRIBLE. Also yes they break extremely easily id STRONGLY recommend to stay away from them.

If you really wanna keep the truck clean you could use something like this

It does take off a little HP but u'll barely notice it and it will help keep the truck cleaner tho its not 100% perfect solution, also sometimes it pops off USE A ZIP TIE!
