Subaru BRZ R&D Sport - TA06

Subaru created the Subaru BRZ R&D Sport race car for the GT300 racing class during the 2012 Super GT season. The BRZ from Team R&D Sport features a 2-liter turbocharged boxer 4-cylinder engine capable of over 300hp, a 4-wheel double wishbone suspension actuated via pushrods, and a sleek body shape form with flared front/rear fenders, rear diffuser, and large rear wing. The Tamiya 1/10 scale Radio Control replica is matched up to Tamiya's 6th generation intermediate class 4WD touring car platform. M06R Chassis Kit - M06

This refined, race-spec version of the M-06 chassis has a customized rear suspension with such features as clamp-type upright weights for enhanced traction and repositioned dampers for more spirited handling. M-Chassis aluminum oil-filled dampers are included and come with specially-designed damper pistons. The kit also comes with a wide range of Option Parts including aluminum turnbuckle steering rods and touring car damper springs.

About the Subaru BRAT
The Bi-drive Recreational All-terrain Transporter was created by Subaru in the late 1970's from their earlier 4WD station wagon model for the US market. Powered by a flat-four engine ranging from 1.6 to 1.8 liters in displacement, this pickup had the unique feature of having jump seats welded to the truck bed, which allowed it to be imported as a car instead of a truck. One of the car's more famous owners was former US President Ronald Reagan, whose red BRAT is restored and displayed at his former residence in California.
