Does that mean they aren't assembling any more from parts?

They did, but all things come to an end eventually.
I do still have small stuff though to keep your .15 engines in top shape.

Pe

Will an MVVS .15 ABC P/L assembly retro-fit into a standard MVVS .15 DFS?

If yes, do you have any stock?

yes, and yes.
The ABC P/L assy however is not the same as the diesel version, so needs a modified head/cp. It's doable, have done it.

The PARRA Wasp 1.5 cc in R/C guise is delivered with an ENYA air bleed R/C carburettor.

ENYA now offer a twin needle R/C carburettor having the same spigot diameter, as an upgrade.

In addition, the twin needle R/C carburettor for the ASP/SC/Magnum .12 fits the PARRA Wasp perfectly.

There are plenty of carburettor options once the supply of MVVS carbs dries up.

A standard ABC Rossi 15 p/l will fit the MVVS case/shaft as will a Parra 15D diesel push/pull head button. A slight about of machining is necessary.

New Rossi p/l are still available.

The MVVS carb has a diameter of 11mm (if I remember correctly) while the ASP one is 8 or 10mm? Depending on if it is the one for their .12 or .15 engine.

The MVVS carb is also a direct drop in on a Norvel .15 and gives it a nice power bost of about 1500rpm.

Hi Ray

Is the Rossi .15 ABC P/L set you mention "plug and play" in the MVVS .15 DFS, or is some fettling required?

Depends on individual cylinder liner fins, and the depth that the Parra head button extends into the liner. Only a matter of a few thou" either way.

More later.

If that is the case, and bore is the same, the Parra head would probably also fit the MVVS ABC and the diesel liner with some lathe work.

I believe that the Parra diesel button will fit the MVVS ABC liner but there is a problem with the Iron/steel diesel liner because it's taller.

IIRC the liner top does need to be skimmed a little to get the right deck height for the Parra button.

The Rossi Steel or ABC does work better than the MVVS and people have been doing this conversion for decades.

Mmmm..... still waiting for my Wasp. The first run of right hand exhaust motors went out before my place in line came up. I guess he hasn't had a second run come in?
