It looks pretty good. I like the single crankcase bottom  that isn't split on it.  That is a nice price for it too.
But swinging a 18x8 propeller only has it yeilding about 2.2 hp though not the advertised 2.9 hp.

Looks like it is nothing like the original 26 which is a great thing. Hopefully it doesn' use the same junk carb.

Should open up some options for those looking for a bigger beam mounted engine (Brit?). Looks like it has 3 intake ports, so it should be able to handle rpm levels well over 7K. If it's anything like it's one step bigger and smaller relatives, it'll still be making good power well over 8K? Be interesting when some feed back starts coming in regarding how it handles something with a little less load than an 18x8?

Still looking for the rear exhaust configurations....

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing: If only it had rear exhaust. Oh well. The beam mount is definitely nice. Hopefully that starts becoming more common in the 30-35cc class. Right now, Moki and NGH are the only options. Either that, or big glow conversions.

they don't use genuine Walbro carbs and the ignition unit is a clone of RCEXL one this is why they never show it on the pictures.

Oh, I am well aware of the initial problems with the 26cc carb. I almost gave up on gassers because of it. However, I've seen a few of the other sized RCGF engines running at our field and they seem to be doing fairly well. I'm willing to give them a shot again one day, but I'm still stinging from the last experience. I'm looking forward to seeing some results with this new engine. The price is right, hopefully the performance is.

The MVVS IFS 30cc and Evolution 26GT are also beam mount

The older 26cc with the angle plug was junk. it seldom ran well and was less powerful than a DLE20.
The RCGF20 Rear carb, RCGF32 and RCGF 55 are excellent engines

Right, now imagine trying to maiden a 16 lb Stuka with that thing on the nose. That was fun. Lol. It was advertised as 2.6 hp, but like you said, I doubt it was making any more than the DLE 20's output.

Anyway, if RCGF has truly upped their game with this engine, then I will consider giving them another chance. I will wait for someone else to be the guinea pig though.

Do you have dimensions for the engine yet? it looks like a bored out development of the 20cc...

Wow, good eye! It sure does look like the 20, and the weight of it is the same as the 20 as well? I hadn't noticed that earlier. That could make this engine a game changer? An economical 20 size/weight engine swinging an 18" prop? I know what the 20 does with an APC 17x6 in front of it. The 26 will likely allow the use of an APC 18x6W. That's a big deal from where I'm sitting.

Drop a note here when they come in Gregg, or when it's added it to the web site. I'm in.

I should have some dimensions this week. Its not a bored out 20cc. Brand new engine larger than the 20cc. I'm setting up the test stand to run the engine today. I will post a video. We will send it out to rc sport flyer and get a review done. They are really technical in there reviews so we can get some real horse power numbers and rpm data. Just remeber horse power is relative, i am always interested in torgue and rpm which is more suitable to propellers.

Why two rings on such a small engine.

My 111 only has one my 50 has one.

Doesnt it add more friction, and lower RPM ??

Im getting these numbers out of my Zenoah 20

I can't say why they have two rings but many of the RCGF smaller engines have 2 rings. I think that the rpm data that they sent me is not right. I think it should be higher. What i think i'll do is run the old 26cc side by side with the new one. Same prop and see what the results are. The beam mounts always are much stronger than the x mounts because of crankcase volume and porting.

If this thing pans out to make the stated power, you can put me down for one. I have a Top Flite Corsair on the way that is screaming to be overpowered.

The 26cc RCGF (Aerovate) I was running on a Funtana a couple seasons ago was using a Jtec wraparound Pitts, an APC 18x6W prop, and turned it in the 78-8000 range once broken in. It would be nice if this newer design would equal or exceed that?
