Status: offline 		The aluminum panels are made. I made them 1/8" oversize so that when the screws come in and I can screw them in place, I can trim them to fit best.

Status: offline 		The thimbles and cable came this morning. And that was the earliest the mailman has ever came. Woo Hoo!
The elevator and rudder have been hooked up and adjusted with endpoints set. The fuse is ready for final sanding and covering. But first I want ot install the interior but won't do that untill the panel gets here.

The aluminum panels turned out nice. I wll give that a go again on my Waco for the fuel tank. It looks like I will be stamping out a few hundered rivets as well.

Status: offline 		Thank's Anthony. On my Waco I used 1/64 ply, way to much sanding and primer to get rid of the grain. I like this method much better.
Thank's Doc. They were made from flat brass sheet, .062x3/4"x12".

Status: offline 		Ok, nobody is doin anything so I'll post the wing servo door's. The framework and the door. I will cut the servo arm slot in the morning. Hard to cut outside when it's dark.
And you may notice the ailerons have been cut out and the L/T edges have been applied. So they will get finished tomorrow as well.
Also sheeted around the strut mountnso the covering has something to bite to.

Status: offline 		Got a nice one for ya'll. I have this old house that I lived in many moons ago. It has been rented, leased and now has been sold. My middle son bought it, say's it's still home because that is where he grew up. Well, today he comes over and gives me this item. This is probably the first homemade tool I ever made. Can anyone guess what it is? A hint: Many moons ago I built scale plastic models.

Status: offline 		The paint shaker works real well. And No! I don't want an assembled model. I use to build models and dioramas, back before I could afford these beast. I have been getting the itch here lately to do another one, especially with the etching of parts available now-a-days. I still have four airbrushes and two dedicated compressors along with all the micro tool's required for such.

Ah, i didnt know that, i hadnt seen any pitts in plastic kit form untill i spotted this one on ebay. It wasent very expencive Robert, i'm sure it was less than 10 UK pounds delivered.

Maybe not Tamiya quality, but the moulding's are crisp with little flashing. Pitts are small at 1/3 scale, but this is minute at 1/48 (although very cute)

Status: offline 		I think I would build the fuselage then add the top of the bottom wing and bottom of the top wing. Then drill very fine pinholes and thread the wires then add the other halves of the wings. By the way how much is 17.50 of your money in my money?
