Wow, very unique...

If you're flying ability matches that scheme's appeal then you'll finish at the top for sure

And the really cool thing about that one is it is an exact match to the plans and the cowl. Have not seen one with a cowl like this one from Fibertech. So I would not have to modify the cowl.

Was reading up on it and the paint scheme is from a Curtiss Hawk. The owner and pilot is a military fighter pilot. He says it's a handfull.

Ok guy's enough of the fun and games. Not going to build a scale model that is not painted accordingly or something I settle with. The more I think about the amount of yellow on my original choice the more I think it will be okay. I will find out Wednesday for sure. But for now the black and yellow is still my plan.

I have decided that if the black does not work out I will go with a reverse of the same.

Nice choice Robert,
I like the classic Pitts scheme.

I remember a blue one on the cover of RCM back in the mid 70's when I was a kid. I think I wore that magazine out I flipped thru it so many times. I was relegated to building Comet and Guillows rubber powered models back then and dreamed of flying R/C .
Later!!
Anthony

Hey, I like that one Robert!  Did you show me that scheme before?  In fact, I like it more than the black.  Just my opinion.

If I don't get to say it later................
Merry Christmas to you all!!!

I was going to recommend a reverse of the same. It's sharp, I saved a few pics of that scheme on my computer for the future.

I don't know how exactly, with all the company and all the in n out,  but I have managed to get some work done on the wing's. The two halves are becoming one. Once it's cured I wil set it on the fuse and build in the bolt plate.

Looking good Robert.  Your doing pretty good to get that much done this weekend!  I didn't get Jack done on my Cub.  Between work, Christmas and.... oh yes, flying, I was too busy!

I can only compare the speed of this build to a balsa chuck glider I used to get as a kid.
I hope your enjoying this just as much!

I was enjoying it.   Warning!!!
For future builder's,  install the flying wire bracket's to their corresponding ribs prior to wing assembly. Trust me!

I can see where that would be a problem. The wing looks good.

I hate to see the 500 server errors back. I hope it is just a temporay thing.
