Got a very large 26mb photo, how do I downsize it to get it below 5 mb so that I can send it ?

Get Picasa off the net.  It's free, works great and you can do lots of photo editing in a short time, including reducing pixel count of pictures

Google the word  PICASA.

Remember, GOOGLE is your friend.....

If your running XP download XP tools from Microsoft. it contains a photo resizer utility. You just right click on the picture and click on resize and follow the prompts.
If you have Vista or 7 I believe it is already there, same procedure. I am not sure how much it will shrink your file but I use it all the time when sending pictures by E-mail.
