Hello:
I need your help because I have a problem with my electric RC Car.
It al started when I bought a new 7,2V 4200mAh battery (in replacement of a 8 AA 1,5V battery pack)

The problem is that the car doesn't respond correctly. When I try to make it move forward, it moves, but when I try to make it move back i still moves forward and doesn't responde to commands.
Also when is in standby it starts to move forward.

Could be the battery the problem?

regards,
sArry.-

What's the brand and model? Does the steering still work?
If we're going to help, we need as much information as possible about the vehicle in question and the problem.

8   penlight batterys at 1.5V = 12V
1   7.2V 4200mAh = 7.2V

Are you sure this is what you have?  Because 7.2V isn't going to drive the electronics and motor adequately when it seems that the vehicle wants 12V.
