RCU-Admin -> How Can I See ONLY the Forums I'm Interested In (9/13/2003 2:38:18 AM)

One of the new features here on RCU is the "My Forums" system, which allows you to view, by default, ONLY those forums which interest you. Here's how it works:
1. Click the "Settings" button in the Forum Button Bar.
2. Click Thread Subscriptions/MyForums link on that page
3. Check the forums that you want to see. If you want an email with every new thread created check off the email notify (warning: this can generate significant mail volume on a busy forum)
4. When you click "Apply", you will be returned to the forums and will see ONLY those forums which you selected.
5. Any time you click a "My Forums" link or button on the site, it will take you to your customized view. Clicking the "ALL Forums" selection from the Forum button on the main navigation will "break you out" of the My Forums mode. Of course, you can click any of the other specific forum icons and see only those topics.
When in MyForums mode and clicking NEW POSTS link or button you will see only posts from MyForums included which makes your surfing on RCU easier with fewer posts appearing that do not interest you.
