 hello all,

as latelly i'm a bit lazy, if you do not mind too much, i will post a link to a thread where you can take a look to the process of detailing, rebuilding and repainting of my HL 'Tiki' Tiger I i bought 21 months ago...

http://www.rctankwarfare.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=10148

some of the content of the thread above is already in this site, the part detailing the Beier soundmodule and the installation of two wireless minicams.

i hope you enjoy it a bit!

any comments and constructive critizism will be apreciated, as usual

best regards

That is a labor of love that you have going on there. I do like the video system. I can't wait to see some video form it. I love tank top video. Here is a link to my Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/thecommandernj?feature=mhee

I just wish you has used a Tamiya tank for the base of the Tiger build. It would yield a better investment for the future. But you probably saved some money using the HL. Coin toss either way. I wish you good luck and get some video out to us. Did you try driving the tank just by the camera yet?

These pix are several years old and that Tiger was my first Tamiya. The guy I got it from used hot glue on everything. The mud guards were ice cream sticks and balsa wood....LOL. Everytime something broke off he glued a pice of lychen over it. We called them 'Chia Tanks". Took hours to rebuild it. Now my youngest runs it at Danville.

hi commander!

yep, i took some videos from the cams, but i did it when the cams were located on the outside, months ago. I will record some new vids with the final layout, when i finish the new sound profile for the Beier soundmodul i'm working on.

if you look to my old thread related to the installation of the minicams you can see some videos, do not judge the sound test videos too hard, as i said, i'm rebuilding them from scratch

the link

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10723642/anchors_10723642/mpage_1/key_Beier/anchor/tm.htm#10723642

go to the bottom of it to see the videos

best regards and thank you for your kind words!

thank you very much m8s!

i've to tweak it a bit, i do not like the transition between the sound 'decelerating & stopping' and the idle engine sound...
