Tom Dixon has a really large list of plans for one thing. He might still be doing engine work too.

Forums are always a main source of getting accurate information and provide you the handy results; you can get instant and reliable information which surely helps you in any field of your concern. I am post graduate in IT and HR. These days I am doing preparation of different online certifications ccsp and I found test king guide is the best helping source which is providing 100% authentic material. I also spend my extra time in surfing internet, listening music and playing games. After my exams I would like to join your group.

This is what I found when I clicked on the link to Virginia Hobbysport.

Welcome to Virginia Hobbysport

Virginia Hobbysport has closed the doors.  Retirement.  It has been a great ten years.  I'd like to thank you for your support.

If you will check the date stamp, seven years ago, Henry was still running his busines, and Old Sourdough was still among the living. Very sadly, Paul passed away, and wasn't near as "old" as his handle would have lead you to believe, although he was a resident of Alaska.

(RIP, old friend!)

For any of you looking for "Butyrate tautening dope" contact F&M Enterprises http://www.stits.com the web site is directed toward Poly Fiber products but we also supply Randolph dope. This web site caters to modelers as opposed to the full scale web site which has products too advanced for the average modeler.

We don't sell as much dope as Poly Fiber products but we can help with the Nitrate/Butyrate delimas. Most Butyrate dope sold today is "Non-tautening Butyrate" for application on polyester or dacron. For Silkspan, silk, or tissue, you need "Tautening Butyrate".

Kiwi! I just found this message - can't tell you how sad it makes me to hear that Paul Eaton's gone. He truly was a good friend - we started the first AMA-sanctioned C/L club in Anchorage (along with something close to a dozen other guys) back in the early 1970's, and we flew together for about 5 years.

Me being career-USAF, my Anchorage tour ended and I spent the next 15+ years traveling/touring the world. We wrote back and forth for a long time, then the web came along and put us "together" again - and then he simply disappeared from "view" about 5 years ago - have often wondered what happened to him.

You're right - I'm 64 (physically - 12 mentally) and he was my age. He left us WAY too early.

...a sad day, losing an old friend so long ago and just now finding out about it.

RIP Paul!

Dave

Don't forget the folks at Sam's Stuff Hobbies. They have everything they are nice to deal with and their shipping is very fast!

SSHobbies went out of business a couple of years ago.  That URL doesn't go anywhere anymore.  There was some chatter that they may return, but hasn't happened yet.
