Haven't shared anything in some time so I thought I would share with you the largest flat bottom that I have ever built. It was built for Phillip 66 to chase geese off of their 20 acre pond in Texas.

Boat is 48” over all, bottom is 20” wide; weighs in at 12 lbs. 12 oz. without battery pack(s).

Castle Creations Phoenix ICE 100 ESC , 18.5v 4200 mah 35C battery pack, Emax GT4030 500KV Outrunner brushless motor swinging a 16x8E.

(Sorry, no video.)

So Phillips 66 has a goose problem? And I thought I was the only one. LoL.

Nice looking boat, Chris. What internal combustion powerplant would you use on that instead of electric? 40cc+?

For its size the boat is relatively light. Depending on how much power you wanted, I would anything from a 28cc - up. A 40cc would have plenty of power.

Any idea what the all-up weight is minus powerplant?

Thanks for the compliment!

I never checked the "balance point" on this one, it ran perfect right off the bench. Therefore, no need to make adjustments.

I need a little of his luck.... Anything I build requires a lot of "finesse" to run right....

Nonetheless, the "Goose Chaser Special" looks good. Now we just need a video of that baby running........
