I plan on ordering a Walkera mini cp, but am not sure of where to buy online.  A lot of these places seem to get mixed reviews.  So, where can I get good reliable service along with a good price?  Free shipping is nice too!

Slow down tiger, 2 hours on a sunday, when everybody that is able, is expected to be flying is not enough time to get anxious.

There are reputable stores, they just not carry what you want. I am one of the people that looked at your post and carried on after reading your additional requirements.

You have a tall order to fill.  Not because of the heli you seek, but because of the terms and conditions you want.

If you need it by Christmas...its going to be a tall order to fill, if even at all.

Best suggestion would be for you to go to a LHS that carries Blade helis and just get a Nano CPX or mCPX.  Either of which are absolutely FINE cp helicopters.  Plus, if the LHS has them, they are sure to have all of the replacement parts in stock too, which you will need at some point in time.

Thats my suggestion.  If you had given yourself at least 2 weeks to a month to get something...there might be a better online option.  With less than 1 week away from Christmas...I doubt you will find an online supplier that can get it to you in that timeframe, and ESPECIALLY for FREE.

Couple questions for the original poster...
What's your experience level? Are you an experienced flier or just getting started? Is this for you or are you looking to give it as a gift? Do you have any local hobby shops nearby? Are you really stuck on the brand/model or are you flexible?

I'm new to helis (though not RC, though I've been driving on the ground until now). Did a bit of online research but, when making my decision, went to a LHS where I could put my hands on various models, talk to people who've flown what I was looking at, and found what parts were available for the different models.
After making my decision, the person I was working with took the time to unbox the heli, inspect it for me, put a battery in it and test fly it before releasing it to me. He found that one of the servo horns had probably been attached with the servo not being centered, so it was waaaay off. Me, as a newbie to helis, probably wouldn't have caught it and would have been fighting to keep a somewhat stable hover, if I could even keep it in the air at all. Instead of taking the easy way out and trimming it from the controls, which he initially was doing, he tore it down, inspected and fixed the underlying issue. Instead of trimming it -28, he fixed it at the servo and ended up trimming -2 at the controller. Try that with mail order... An experienced pilot probably wouldn't have had a problem with this, knowing by feel what was going on and how to fix it.

If you're stuck on a certain brand that your LHS doesn't have, obviously you're going to be waiting longer for replacement parts if it's something they don't carry. Your LHS may be able to suggest or recommend a different unit that matches your requirements. As a small business worker, I'm also big on supporting my local businesses, so will go local when possible.

Thanks guys.  I decided to go with Xheli.  Read some good reviews, and pulled the trigger.  IT was the cheapest option.  It is supposed to be here this friday.  Can't wait.
