Hi all,
A friend of mine gave me a big box of Heli stuff, a Honey Bee, Blade CP Lama and a Belt cp. Most of them have some broken parts on them but the belt cp
The belt cp is only missing the reciever, Is htis a good heli? it it worth getting a 72mhz reciever? It does have the speed controller and brushless motor on it

Thank you
Otto

Hey Otto
I would not recommend  the 72 Mhz, You should go for a 2.4 system. You may take some interferance and may lose the heli. Ther are enough reasons to lose a heli without adding that in the mix. I have two of them one regular and a night flyer

Do you reccomend a 2.4ghz system that is on the less expensive side.

Yes It does come with a receiver. The servos are out of of their slots? Take 2 pics of your bird one left side and one right side and post it here, I'll show you. I would be easier describing it to you. Elevator servo goes in the square slot.....Maybe I can take a few pics of mine. What type of servos do you have for it. i would not plan on using the ESKY servos for a long time.

EDIT Gyro is at the top of the frame at the back

I will take pics on thursday I am working 24 hours tomorrow.......but no all the servo's are in where they are supposed to be I just dont know what slot on the reciever each servo plugs in.
I think all that is missing is the reciever.......I found a manual online which told me where to plug each servo in on the original esky reciever but if i got w/ a dx6i I am not sure where each servo plugs in.

on a side note I see your from british VI...The US VI is my fave place .......spent honeymoon on St Croix and been there several times.....Wife,Daughter and I love scuba diving St Croix.

Thank for your help

Otto

Philly,
For now I think I am going to take the cheap way out and order a replacement (stock) reciever $10 bucks....Just to see if it all works....I have the transmitter so it seems obvious to go that route..........if it all works well I will go 2.4 w/ a dx6i
Then for sure I will be picking your brain.

Thanks for your help
Otto
