I have a 4* 120 kit here I plan to build this winter just to pass the colder days. I would like to replace the stock LG with one that is about 2 inches taller and stronger than the stock one. Any one do anything along this line with a 4* that can suggest one that works.? Thanks Brian

Whats your motivation, rough landings, tall grass field runways?

Have you considered beefing up the stock aluminum gear with some cable x bracing, then make some drop spindles to get the additional height you want.

I'm putting a G38 on ignition on this 4* and I want the gear a little taller for good prop clearance and a little stronger for the weight of the G38. Looking at going with TNT. Thanks Brian
