OK here at  http://rcaircraft-specialties.com/ I'm starting a new build for a customer
it is a SKYMASTER HAWK 100. It will have some nice equipment in it including the new POWERBOX IGYRO!
so I will post pictures and tips here. I am also following the BVM Upgrades as listed in their upgrade manual
Starting with the flap install.. This just takes patience and skills with a Dremel ! ( how could we build awsome planes without a DREMEL????)

The main LG units are quite robust, mounted to a strong ply/CF sandwich with SS screws
and all of the accordian doors work smoothly!

OK the cockpit is all done.. it is finished per the guidance in the BVM supplementary manual, the 2 tubs
are attached to the inside of the canopy tray with small FH screws.. you have to do a bit of tricky Dremel work here
to get this right! it looks quite nice when done. I painted the interior of the canopy frame + the interior of the front fuse
around the to hide the "cream" colored FG, makes it all look better. One note here, Skymaster installed the "Tailormadedecal"
MDC system on the OUTSIDE of the canopy! They did do a good job centering it and getting it on smooth BUT with use, it would last
MUCH LONGER if it were installed as designed on the inside of the canopy. This IS a tricky install.. see attached .pdf. I have done these using the "wet" method
as well but I believe that the method shown here is better.

Equipment trays in progress, the front tray is supplied by Skymaster, the rear one I fabricated
These are mounted low so there is room to mount equipment under the cockpit tubs!
the front one will be for the Powerbox + rx batteries. The rear one for the Turbine support stuff
These have been primed with light gray auto primer

I set the rear fuselage air brake up
it works fine but might need some restrictors
in the airline to make it move at a more scale speed...

Servo install underway, aileron servo here.. it is a tight fit with these
JR HV servos, but doable.. 1 wing done #2 in process.
No room here to use SWB or similar arms without requiring
opening up the bottom wing surface ( no-no)

Elevator servo install. I put the fuse in a "0-0" position using an incidence meter
Then I positioned the stab at "0-0" using that meter. Once established I set the servos
at neutral and that enabled me to locate and drill the locator holes for the servos..
this results in a nice tight and slop free install...

Radio board and air control boards all done. There are no air tubing visible when the cockpit+canopy is removed.
Also there are no servo wires visible except for the ends that plug into the PB SRS unit!!
The air board has valves for the Wheel brakes, scale air brake on the fuse rear, main LG,
Main LG doors, and Front LG doors!

Nice job George. Is that Tailormade MDC install pdf. from the BVM addendum? I wish I had that when doing my CARF Hawk canopy. I'm surprised they put that on the outside. It's pretty delicate.

Hey George, is there going to be a fuse center tank on this one.

I was wondering if Skymaster has locating marks on the fuse where the tank gets mounted.

Mine is on the outside too. I would prefer it to be on the inside, but it's held up after a year.
