As long as I get no snow, I'm good. Draco is avoiding me and according to my local weather, it'll be a 60% (more like 40%) chance of rain Monday, and 40% (mostly like 20%) on Christmas. Looks good to have some fun!

Looks like 2-4 inches of snow here. I was hoping not to have to gas up the snow blower this year.

I wouldn't start the snow blower for 2" !  Nothing wrong with shoveling unless you have severe medical issues. Great exercise !
I haven't used mine in two years and I hope this year is the same.If we get just enough two or three times to cover the field for skis or floats then I'm happy. Being how they hyped it up I doubt it will be much at all.

In case any of you don't have this just put in your location and scroll down to see average wind speed, precip, and forcast out to four days. It is as accurate as your local airport MET.

Happy New Year, I can say that can't I ??

Here is a decent aviation forecast site if your local is served by it BUT as stated this is only good if your flying field is somewhat close to the airport. For me the site is never accurate as the locations are so far apart .

Merry Christmas !!

I'm welcoming the snow. At least you can fly with snow, where it's been raining for the past week. A large amount is perfect for parkflyers, where you don't use a runway to begin with. I have a little Guillows Float Beaver in the back seat of the car waiting to be flown. Might finally get around to it, with a good snow.

Got in two good flights this morning. It is sunny, no wind and 63 degrees. Life is good. World has not came to an end.
