Im new to this hobby...I recently bought a Tmaxx 3.3 truck..it was running ok and all of the sudden the transmission wont engage anymore..i give gas but the truck wont move..the local hobby shop wants $60 just to take a look at it..i manage to pull the transmission out..My qquestion is should i open the case and look inside to see if its somenthing i fix myself? i never done this..Whar are your thoughts..Regards

    Status: offline     		$60 to take a look is just crazy. What model T-Maxx do you have? If you're going to take it apart take some pics as you go so you have something to reference when putting it back together, there are also exploded views in the manual and at the Traxxas website.

    Status: offline     		Open it up, look at the traxxas exploded views for tips. Best case scenario you learn what's inside, how it works, how to fix it, and save money. Worst case scenario, "new" ebay transmission. You can buy one right now for $35.99 shipped.

    Status: offline     		ty for the replys..i open the transmission and found broken geras..i replaced them along with a new case..nnow the reverse gear wont engage and i cant make the engine shift to 2nd gear
