I just purchased a pair of Tetherite glass filled landing gear legs for my scratch built profle but would like to know if the regular Rustoleum spray paint will work on it or is there another type of paint that would be a better choice.

Just abrade your gear with 180 grit sandpaper, clean, prime with Rustoleum primer, sand with 320 grit, clean and spray your Rustoleum topcoat.

Hi!
A much better way would be using automotive 2-part paint. Problem is that you need a compressor and spray equippment to do so.

My concrern it that when the gear flexes the paint will crack and peel. Someone mentioned using Rit dye, would that work ??
