I would have posted in the truggy forum but it doesnt look like anyone gets on it very much, can you put monster truck tires on a 1/8 truggy? Specifically traxxas talons?

Yes you can as long as you got the right offset wheels. My Thunder Tiger MT4 is a truggy with monster truck wheels. I don't know specifically about the talons as I don't know any. I know the proline 3.8 badlands and the proline 3.8 trenchers fit

Make sure the wheels you are using have 17mm hubs. Many MT wheels only have 14mm hubs so they won't fit.

Just factor in the larger tire diameter and the extra weight when it comes to gearing it.

Big MT tires on a nitro truggy will be more of a problem(for the clutch, basically..) than they would on an electric...

true
would like to add they will also put more stress on the drive chain, and could cause it to fail prematurely.

Hmmm i guess ill weigh them and the ones on it and if they're close ill use them but if there's much difference its not worth it.
