OK.  I finally binded.  I didn't know I had to plug the heli in right after turning on the tx.  One quesiton though.  When i'm hovering the heli, should it be able to hover on its own like when I elevate?  or is there always a little stick work to be done?  If so, then I'm not nearly as good of a pilot as I thought, and the similulators make flying the real things seem easy.

Well, I am just a noob too and I found that the sims are somewhat easier than the real thing....lots of variances like wind, pilot, mechanical, etc in real life.
Sounds like it is normal to me...even though there is a stabilization system, you will still have to constantly put in some input on the sticks....just from what I have learned so far.
Someone with more knowledge will chime in soon I am sure....good luck with your progress.

Well I just had a pretty serious crash ):  nothing is broke but something changed because the heli won't lift off.  Did it change blade angle or something?

I'm new to CPs to and they are a ****. You will constantly be on the stick. There is an order that you need to be carfull of I have learned. First on with the transmitter then plug in the battery and do the reverse when shutting it down. Good luck. I'm just starting to be able to hover. Find a place where you can take off from hard ground then fly into a grass area to crash ,  and you will crash.

I have the Mcpx but I am wondering if it is similar to the cp mini.....try this...check to see if the main gear needs to be pushed up. Sometimes on hard landing or crashes, the main gear will slip down...just put equal pressure on either side of the main gear with your thumbs and your two index fingers on top of the rotor head....then push...not too hard but enough that you should see the main shaft sticking out the bottom of the main gear....like I said....not sure how alike it is to the mcpx but take a look at yours now and see if that is it.

Any info on what to do after a crash?  NO apparent damage, Its jus the that heli won't lift off. if I have the elevator all the way up, it sits on the ground, but if I throttle up (right stick) it'l bounce up.  please help if you can.  Thanks

Ok...just looked at a couple of images of the cp and the main gear looks similar to the mcpx....If you are noticing lots of play up and down on the main shaft, then the gear push is your remedy.

See if this helps. I know they are talking about the mcpx but perhaps yours is the same.

So how did you make out Leafy? Was it the gear? Goggles found the vid for what I described in an earlier post. Good luck either way and happy flying.
