Can some one please tell me why all of a sudden I developed a wild tail spin after I am about one foot off the ground. I have a Genius CP that I am practicing hovering. It did come down a few times but I hold it to about five ft. so it didn't slam hard. I would love some thoughts.

Are you talking about a plane or Heli.? Planes need right rudder until you reach sufficiante airspeed for control surfaces to work.Maybe (P) Factor is stil affecting you at takeoff speed? I'm taking (Flight in a Hole new direction check out (Electric Rotowing)

Status: offline 		Thanks Charlie, I was talking Helis. I did figure out the prob. The tail rotor had a hair line crack and when it got to speed it was just slipping on the shaft. I thought I examined it well.
