Did you lose rear wheel drive by any chance? If the clutch is fine, slipper is ok, you may have damaged something in the tranny. Check to make sure all the pins are in the center driveshafts too.

hi thanks for the reply, i havent lost rear wheel drive. its a strange one. i have a replacement gearbox so i will put that in tommorow but if i hold the truck down and turn the spur gear its all tight and wont move until i let go of the wheels so seems as if the gearbox is ok. would the clutch bell be worn inside? i have put a strengthened set of tmaxx clutch shoes in
thanks will

Check the adjustment on the  brake  lever.    It may be  too tight  and  holding the brake on.    There should be a little  play in it from front to back.

Are your clutch shoes in backwards?

Yea, if you can spin the spur and all seems well (taking it you have the grey tranny, otherwise truck wouldn't move) then sounds like something up with the clutch.

hi i have changed the shoes round and it has made   drastic improvements but it still wont accelerate hard from standing without revving really high and going not very far. if i accelerate softly and then open the throttle hard its ok. anyone have any ideas? i have put a high stall set of shoes in it.
thanks

I would check the slipper again...take it apart and have a look...
A time or two I have seen where the slipper's little red pegs have gotten so hot, that they have melted and distorted the plastic holes in the spur. They get all buggered up and at funny angles instead of being in alignment. It really effects how well the slipper functions (or doesn't )
