Status: offline 		 I am a total newbie to rc helicopters, just bought one, it says savox cx450 on the canopy but says trex on the blades and the rear arm leading to the back propeller.   I dont no what battery it needs or what transmitter, can somebody please help me

Status: offline 		I did a search for Savox cx450 and I found this heli , is this what you have?

Savox is the brand name for servo's so perhaps it has those servo's in it.

Status: offline 		 Yes thats it, so it must have align parts on it, so what battery and transmitter is best to get,  for a total newbie

The transmitter is a bit more involved. Does your helicopter have a reciever already installed ? if it does, are you happy to stay with that brand ?

Status: offline 		 So its just an 11.1v 25c battery? Yes it has a reciever already, i dont no what brands are good, just dont want to spend loads of money on my first transmitter

Status: online 		The three most popular are Futaba, JR/spectrum and Hitec. Any of these will do a good job.

The lower the C rating then the lower the performance, so for yourself at the moment it's not that important. What have you got in mind....15c ?
