Hi Fellas,

Has anybody tried shooting those cheap acrylic ( folkart, cemramcoat ) paints through a airbrush before? I don't know if that would work and what thinner to use? any tips would be great. I assume that they probably dry too quickly and clog the tip of the airbrush? but windex would dissolve the acrylic after right? just load up a jar of it and flush the airbrush

Thanks for any help

Jeremy

Im sure I have read here some guys using these paints in there airbrushes.

I use regular blue windshield washer fluid as thinner for acrylic paints.   It works great.

Ceramcoat has its own thinner. You really have to search around for it. You should always try the brands own thinner first.....

I use 90% rubbing Alcohol to thin Tamiya, Testors, and Polly S acrylic paints with no issues.
