Has anybody tried shooting those cheap acrylic ( folkart, cemramcoat ) paints through a airbrush before? I don't know if that would work and what thinner to use? any tips would be great. I assume that they probably dry too quickly and clog the tip of the airbrush? but windex would dissolve the acrylic after right? just load up a jar of it and flush the airbrush

Thanks for any help

Im sure I have read here some guys using these paints in there airbrushes.

Status: offline 		Hey JerB i use the dollar store paints they work good and i spray the clear coat with the Rust-oleaum frosted clear they work good for me

Status: offline 		yes sprays good through the airbrush i use water to thin the acrylic paints

Status: online 		I use regular blue windshield washer fluid as thinner for acrylic paints.   It works great.

Status: offline 		Ceramcoat has its own thinner. You really have to search around for it. You should always try the brands own thinner first.....

Status: offline 		I use 90% rubbing Alcohol to thin Tamiya, Testors, and Polly S acrylic paints with no issues.
