im close to finishing my build, ill be running a brand new velineon 3500kv motor and esc.  i need to know what the biggest lipo battery i can run without burning it up

if you are talking about how many cells 2-3 depending on gearing
if you are talking about C-rating or mAh rating you can never go too big (except to fit in your battery compartment) in those 2 the higher the better.

And don't spend too much on those LiPos.  I can't believe the prices I see in catalogs ..... over $100 for some!  Unless you're a pro, or think you are, ain't no reason not to buy budget batts like Gens Ace.

im building a dirt oval modified to run at the LHS on friday nights....its on the traxxas bandit platform and im still trying to get better tires and parts for it but im having trouble with the tires/batteries.

got my tires and inserts ordered, now if anyone knows of a good lipo battery that wont burn up the motor(i know some motors can only handle so much)  can u post a link on here plz?
