Just wondering if anyone has installed tow cables on their Elefant and if so what did they use? I found an inexpensive metal set on feeBay for the Taigen Tiger that might work as well as a set of Schumos...just wanted some opinions..thanks

The copper wire set will allow you to pose the cable and it will not move. I am not sure about the Schumo set.

Schumo set you can cut the wire to the proper length before assembly. The wire is bradded steel and will conform to however you bend it. Takes paint well also.

Thanks for the advice...you both have some good points to make... I went ahead and got the Taigens as I would prefer a little more flexibility in the cable for the install on this paticular set-up. They measure about 54cm(21") which is just about right for how they need to lay on the tank. Since all the Elefant has is hooks(no clamps) it would be a lot more difficult to position the steel cables as they are pretty stiff(I know as I installed Schumos on my M41), and if I hadn't purchased the clamp set for my M41 the Schumo's would have never stayed in the right position..I'll keep ya posted as to how they work once installed..
