Its been a long while since I was on this forum, reason was that I got out of the Boat RC hobby, used to have a Rio 51 but sold it. Now Im thinking of picking
up an other boat, the only thing is I am having trouble in choosing a new boat. Any help would be appreciated.
Keep in mind I have a set budget of $600 / $1000 CDN.
looking for something fun, low maintenance, easy to tune and open to mods.

you did not say if your looking for a ready to run or build it myself ? personally as you live in canada I would get in touch with andy at AC Boats his Lazer45 or Razor45 are both great hulls, even if you put a stock zen 26 in them.

Perhaps im biased I run 2 lazer 45s over here in the UK.

I would say that would be a good first choice. Maybe they can build you something ready to run.....and even save on shipping since you are in Canada already. Im not an AC guy but they are some very good boats!

......Or you may be able to find a good deal on a ready to run in Canada.

Status: offline 		I second the Laser 45 if you like to build, but you probably will spend more than you have budgeted.  If you want RTR, the Tower Rio is a good place to start, especially since they started using the Zenoah 260.

Status: offline 		Thanks for the advise guys, I will look at the Lazer45, but I was looking at more of an RTR.
I think that if I buy a hull, motor and all hardware I would break the bank.
As I can see I either have the Rio 51Z or the Proboat BlackJack.
In rough water what is more stable, a deepV (Rio) or big Cat (Black jack)

Before you decide why not have a talk to Tom at Expresscraft he will build you a RTR he has lots of hulls to choose from and they now come with carbon fibre and prices start arround $225 cant beat that for a carbon hull.
