Status: offline 		If you have noticed the numbers of members contributing to AMA over and above the annual dues, you might think that all the members don't get too concerned with AMA business outside the promotion of model aviation. That -IMO - is a good thing. Keeps the bottom-line in the black, I hope, plus it may well be that AMA is on a good course.
TBOMK, the Dec. '12 issue has many more names in the donaters list than I ever remember seeing in one year. Now take a look at the Jan. '13 issue. AMA must be doing something that the membership likes.

Hope you all had a great Christmas, and 2013 will be far better than it is diagnosed to be. For myself I hope to really get back to some serious flying this year, but then I said that last year. Have a great NEW YEAR at your house and your flying field whatever model airplane discipline you choose.

BTW if you are within range of the Houston area, east side between Dayton and Huffman, TX, make a note of the Jetero RC Club's AMA Sanctioned Competition Fun Fly sanctioned for Sat. Feb. 23, 2013. Typical 4 rounds. All proceeds will be donated to the Dayton TX Volunteer Fire Department.

The fun this year is that at least one, hopefully two rounds will be involved with PAINT BALLS.
As Contest Director I hope to be able to have a number of old airplanes to be flown for targets. Bring your selected flying machine just in case all mine get used up.
For some 16 years this event was called the Frozen Fickle Finger of Fate Fun Fly I did not list that name this year, but you can call it that. Full details will be available by end of Jan. '13.

Ya'll come see us now!
