Status: offline 		 I just purchased a redcat twister and it came with a 2000mah 7.2v nimh battery. I have a mega 2 old school charger and the wall charger. I want to charge the battery using my mega 2 just not sure how long to charge it. also where can i purchase good chaep batteries.

Status: offline 		Hello, simply divide the capacity of your battery (2000mah) by your chargers out put. If it is set at say 300mah then 2000/300= about 6.6hrs (6hrs 36mins). Due to inefficiencies (heat loss) round this up to 7hrs or until battery gets warm (not hot).

Hobbyking do cheap batteries. You may wan to consider going 2cell lipo as the voltage should be fine (lipos can be charged faster and are lighter for the size/capacity) but they do need a lipo charger and care.
